A lifelong horse lover and trail rider, Amber is also the author of For the Love of Horses: Everyday Lessons from Life in the Saddle (Harvest House, 2014). She lives in upstate South Carolina with her husband, Jeff, their horse Ameer, four dogs, and four goats.
FROM AMBER
“I’ve loved horses my whole life. From filling a childhood barn with Breyer models to rolling coins for my first horse, Marquise, they’ve always been at the center of my world.
Along my journey I’ve learned horse ownership is more than trail rides and ribbons; it’s also accidents, colic, and nutrition challenges. These challenges sparked my passion for equine nutrition and a commitment to evidence-based management.
My goal is simple: help horses feel, perform, and look their best while giving owners confidence in the care they provide.”
