A 90-Day Consultation Package is your opportunity to define realistic and achievable nutritional goals for your horse. Together we will create and maintain a plan for success then you can lean on the expertise of a Certified Nutritional Advisor to keep you on track and be your cheerleader along the way.

During this program you will have the opportunity for weekly contact so I can answer your questions as well as help you problem solve along the way.  Your success and confidence in maintaining the program independently is of paramount importance to me.

This program is available on site or virtually so no matter where you live, your goals are achievable.

  • Day 1 INTAKE

    Assessment of Body Condition, determine initial nutritional state, identify gaps and excesses, define goals, and set dietary plan in accordance with the Nutrient Requirements of Horses based on body weight and workload

  • Day 30

    Assess if progress toward goals is being made. Adjustments will be made if necessary in order to continue positive progress.

  • Day 60

    By this time goals should be met, except in extreme cases. Days 60-90 are dedicated to finding the dietary sweet spot in which the optimal balance is found between nutritional needs, body condition and energy levels.

  • DAY 90 DIAMOND DAY

    At this point you will have met your goals and found the diamond hiding inside your horse.

Diet Analysis

Analysis of your horse’s body condition score, workload, daily nutrition intake and living environment. This program identifies nutritional gaps and excesses and provides dietary recommendations based on goals. Multiple horse pricing available. Also available on farm or virtually.

Fecal Egg Count TESTING

Testing for infestation, reduction and reappearance performed using the Modified McMaster Test. Available locally only. Deworming your horse should be based on recommendations from your veterinarian and the AAEP Internal Parasite Control Guidelines.

Hay Testing

Certified NFTA hay testing available. Equi-analytical forage testing laboratory is used for processing.
